With his 13.000 inhabitants, Soller is the commercial and cultural center of the Mountain range of Tramuntana, as well a starting point of diverse walking routes by the mountains, the cost and the beautiful "valley of the oranges".
The central seat of Soller with the imposing church, trees, outdoor coffees and bottom of the mountains is one of the most beautiful of the island. Surrounded by narrow streets with numerous traditional stores, houses and the old train station it's the main point of contact of residents and tourists (mainly on the market days).
Later you can go to the old Port of Sóller, using, the old train to take a bathe or to take the boat to the Torrent of Paréis.The valley of Soller, between the sea and the Sierra of Tramuntana, it still has something exotic. Specially if you don’t use the modern tunnel for to go there. You can go by the historical train from Palma which goes less through 13 tunnels or the old highway of the Coll de Sóller that raises 500 ms of height in 30 serpentines. On the highest point you can enjoy a precious panoramic view of Palma.
