Since its opening in 2006, the Finca Galatzó estate close to Es Capdellá (Calvià) has become one of the most popular destinations for day-trips. Especially on week-ends, many people come to hike, bike or go horse-back riding. In addition, special events are organized; in autumn, for example, you can go looking for mushrooms.

Starting at the former possesió (an agricultural finca with several annexes) dating back to the 19th century, which is open to the public as well, you can opt for one of the easier or more difficult trails. The first two have already been fully reconditioned and offer interesting bits of information (in various languagues) on the nearby sights.  

-         Sa Vinya, easy, for hiking and cycling

-         Ses Sínies, easy, for hiking, cycling and horse-back riding

-         Ses Planes, easy, for hiking and horse-back riding

If you want more of a work-out, you can combine the Ses Planes and Ses Sínies trails with a hike up Galatzó or Mola de S’Esclop mountain, both considered rather difficult.
